He can't see my sparkles.

I am out of the salon for two days. My husband had PRK vision correction today (a more painful laser surgery.) He is just laying in the dark with ice on his eyelids.
To entertain myself, I got to playing with my CND Shellac and Martha Stewart's glitter. I have given myself the raddest manicure- a solid glitter rainbow fade. A-maz-ing. Everything near my dining room table is now disco! Love.

WET PAINT

I got a call from the salon yesterday. The weekends painting is not finished so we are cutting hours on the salon and keeping the spa open. One problem. We are living and working in the heart of military North Carolina. The Marine Corp Birthday Balls are still going on. And I am doing formal hairstyles today. Now I will be doing these styles like MacGyver in the waiting/ reception area of the salon. This is going to get interesting.
On the brighter side, I have brand-spanking new patent leather Danskos to break in and a stiff pair of black Dickies.

Never too blonde

I am lightening my hair. This is the second time in two days, being that the first turned it a peachy yellow. So I am hoping to end up with a bright white-blonde. I am also hoping that this beautiful blonde hair is attached to my head, and not all in the shower drain. The tingling has now turned to burning and I am starting to wonder if this was a good idea.
Don't worry, I am a professional . (Shouldn't I know better???)
